Membership
The YMCA’s mission is what makes us unique because our goal is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice. It is our desire to see that mission strengthened while remaining open and welcoming to all. Plus, you’ll get all of these great benefits:
Group Exercise Classes
With your membership, you can choose from hundreds of exercise classes for beginners up to the fitness enthusiast. Our Ys offer traditional aerobics, yoga, pilates, cycling and many other group exercise classes, including ZUMBA®, all taught in a fun, welcoming environment. In addition to the group exercise classes, our trained wellness staff can help design a fitness program that meets your individual needs.
Family Friendly Programs
Members receive special rates on Afterschool, day camp, sports and other programs for children and families.
Strength and Cardio Equipment
Each of our full-facility Ys has a variety of strength and cardio equipment for members. Whether you prefer running on a treadmill, cycling beside a friend, reading while on an elliptical trainer, lifting free weights or using strength training equipment, you can do it at the YMCA.
Quality Child Care
We are dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable programs for our youth. Staff members are partners with parents and other caregivers, working together to help kids grow up healthy, happy and strong. From preschool and school-readiness programs to fun afterschool activities, our programs give kids the chance to make positive choices about their lives and how they spend their time.
We also provide quality child care in ChildWatch while you’re working out or participating in other Y activities.
Swimming and Water Activities
Many of our facilities have year-round indoor pools and some have outdoor seasonal pools. There’s time for recreational swim and water aerobic activities. Certified lifeguards staff our pools, and our swim lessons are taught by trained instructors.
Membership For All
Our YMCA is a membership organization open to all people. The YMCA welcomes women and men, girls and boys of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions, abilities and financial circumstances. Programs and branches embrace diversity, reflecting the needs and composition of our community. We are now more affordable than ever thanks to the “Membership For All” program. Under this program, your membership rates are based on total household income.
Financial assistance for programs is available for qualified members through the Open Door program, funded by the Strong Kids Campaign. We are community based and believe that our programs should be available for everyone.
My Y is Every Y in New England

A.W.A.Y. – Always Welcome at Any YMCA
