New Haven YMCA Youth Center

Two gymnasiums, caring youth programming, swimming and child care are among the reasons our members love the New Haven YMCA Youth Center. One gym is dedicated to our Walk-In program for after school recreation.

In addition to our full day NAEYC accredited school readiness program for 3 and 4 year olds, (available at 50 Howe Street), we have a wonderful Walk-In program for youth ages 11 to 19 years that runs after-school Monday through Thursday from 2:30pm to 6:00pm; and on Fridays from 2:30pm to 5:30 p.m.

Our In-House Summer Care Program is run during the weeks when school is out and operates right out of our own facility. With plenty of field trips, fellowship and fun, it’s the place to spend summer in New Haven!

Well known for our Youth leadership programs and swim lessons for youth – at the New Haven YMCA Youth Center you can also plan swim birthday parties or swim rentals for any group function. Contact us to inquire!

The New Haven YMCA Youth Center is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday.
