At the YMCA, camp is more than childcare, it’s an experience. Kids and teens explore the outdoors, try new activities, build confidence, and form lasting friendships in a safe, welcoming environment. All programs are guided by the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Counselor in Training (CIT) Program
The Counselor in Training (CIT) program is a hands-on leadership experience for rising 9th–10th graders who want to build skills and confidence at camp. CITs work alongside experienced counselors, learning to lead activities, support camper groups, and take on real camp responsibilities—all while learning by doing. Regular check-ins with our leadership team help CITs reflect, grow, and develop as strong future leaders.
