Youth Sports
Team sports at the Y build character and self-esteem. Participants cultivate values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health and educational achievement. Kids will not only learn the fundamentals and how to work together on a team, but also who they are and what they can achieve.
Our programs include gymnastics, dance, soccer, basketball, baseball, martial arts, tennis and more. We also offer more advanced classes for children who have taken our sports classes before.
View our schedules page to learn more about the youth sports we offer.
After School Programs
Looking for an alternative for your child after school? Instead of going home to an empty house and watching TV, your child will be busy, happy and enjoying a social atmosphere with others through a variety of recreational games, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, homework time, snack and field trips under supervision.
The Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA offers Before and After School Child Care in the Monroe Public School System at the following locations:
- Fawn Hollow Elementary School
– Stepney Elementary School
Hours for Elementary Schools:
7:00 am – 9:00 am
