Summer is an ideal time for children to get out and explore. A chance to enjoy recreational and educational activities that help them learn, grow and thrive. Do you remember your best summer ever? For families looking to keep their children’s minds and bodies active, the Y can give them an adventurous, active and healthy summer.
Camp Badakookala, Discovery and Sunshine Camps provide a fun and unique experience that gives children and teens the opportunity to explore, meet new friends, discover new interests and create memories that last a lifetime.

Registration will begin on February 1, 2018. To register, please fill out the documents and bring them to the Y! 2018 Day Camp Registration Packet. If your child will require special assistance or medicine while at camp, these forms may also be required: Individual Care Plan_Medicine Authorization

If your child is 14-15 years of age, they may be interested in our Counselor in Training program. In our CIT program, they will receive valuable job interviewing skills, child care training, leadership experience, team building and problem solving skills. Our programs for 2 year olds include:
Play Days – A school year half day program that includes sustained independent and group free play, story time, arts and crafts, music and creative movement.
Sunshine Club – A summertime program with lots of outdoor play, arts and crafts, story time and special visitors such as musicians, petting zoo and more.
Preschool – A program for 3s, 4s, and Pre-K children that includes swim lessons, instructional gym, music, art, science, and kindergarten readiness.
P.L.A.Y. – Play and Learn At the YMCA is an afternoon enrichment program for preschoolers that includes circle time, lunch, playground time, gym, and arts and crafts.
Where can children meet other children, finish homework without a hassle, do arts and crafts and play outdoors? How can parents find peace of mind that their children are in a safe, fun atmosphere that models and teaches the YMCA four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility? In the Fairfield YMCA After School Program! We offer 2 to 5 day options. Transportation is provided from all Fairfield Public elementary schools and scheduled early dismissals are included. State Licensed.
School Year Adventurers is an after school program designed to engage students in 5th through 7th grades. The program includes help with effective time management for school assignments, ongoing community outreach and service, group games with relaxed competition such as dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, flag football and more. We welcome 5th graders in all Fairfield Public Schools and 6th and 7th graders in Tomlinson and Roger Ludlow Middle Schools.

A safe and fun YMCA staff supervised area where parents with a Family Membership can leave their children to play and enjoy activities while they participate in programs on-site.
