Kids learn to share, learn about sportsmanship and most importantly, they learn about themselves. Our experienced and well trained staff will help your child learn skills and discover their potential.

The Fairfield YMCA Youth Sports program is built on values, sportsmanship, and FUNdamentals. Check out our new age groupings and progressive sports classes like T-Ball, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Ninja Kids and our Munchkin classes for preschoolers.
Children will have fun while learning basic skill development and game experience.
Classes are taught by caring and professional staff.
Private Sports Classes:
Book a package of 7 private sports classes for your child and their friends during a time of you’re choosing! Sports options include soccer, basketball, t-ball and more!

We now offer TRX Suspension Training
TRX is the newest way to get your body in the best shape of your life. TRX is a suspension training system that combats your body, challenging your strength, power, balance and flexibility. TRX training is offered through personal training, small group workouts and/or classes.
TRX Classes offered Tuesday at 9:30 am, Wednesday at 11:30 am, Thursday at 6:00 pm.
Fee: $60 for Y Member, $130 for Community.

FLYFINS TRY OUTS!
Can you swim all four strokes? Available to practice, attend swim meets (dual and USA), compete?
Summer Swim Team try-outs will be held on April 15th – April 19th, 2013 at 5:15 or 7:30. Please sign up on the Flyfins bulletin board between April 8th – April 12th. Open to youth 6 – 13 and older!
School Swim Clubs

FlyFins Swim Team
Ages: 6 – 18 years
The Fairfield YMCA Flyfins Swim Team focuses on developing the whole swimmer and providing each of them with the coaching and guidance to build confidence through improvement and success. This competitive swim team offers instruction, training, and competition. The team participates in both YMCA and USA swim meets. Potential team members must be able to swim all four strokes, compete in 90% of all practices, swim meet duals and USA meets. Practice times vary by age and experience. Classes are taught by American Red Cross Instructors. First Time certifications and re-certifications are available for Lifeguarding and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Lifeguarding candidates must be 15 years and older, be able to swim 550 yards non-stop, and must be able to tread water for 3 minutes.
