Y Vacation Club

No School, No Worries!

REGISTER NOW for Y Vacation Club– June 22 AM session:  8-1.  PM session: 1-6

We strongly believe that every child needs a safe and fun experience each and every day.  Our program is designed to provide an environment where each child can learn and grow through a wide variety of exciting activities that promote youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.  We maintain a strong commitment to building character in youth through our four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.

For students in grades K-6th. Participants will engage in organized play activities, sports programs, arts and crafts, and swimming.  The program will meet in Room 1 in the morning at the Fairfield YMCA and end there as well.  Please pack 2 Snacks and Lunch for each participant. Snack is not provided!

FEATURING:  Inflatables in the Gym, Swim time in the YMCA Pool during PM.  Pack swimsuit and towel. Arts and Crafts projects and camp games.

CONVENIENTLY SERVING THE FAIRFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT AND BEYOND You don’t have to be a Fairfield resident to take part in the program.  We welcome all participants from neighboring towns.

Members– $40 Half Day, $75 Full Day / Community Participants -$45 Half Day, $85 Full Day

Splash into Summer

Half Day Swim School

A great way for your child to learn to swim or improve their stokes with two lessons each day!  Your child will swim, learn water safety, enjoy a snack, and have lots of fun!  Swim school is 5 days per week for ages 3 to 9.

Time: 9:00 am – 12:00pm or 1:00 pm -4:00pm

Fees: $200 Member / $275 Community Member

Y Leaders Club

Calling all Fairfield teenagers!

Leaders Club provides high school students with extensive leadership training, offering opportunities for service to the YMCA and the community. Leaders Club also serves as a recruiting program for future Y professionals! We are here to develop leaders, fostering with them a culture of service in addition to knowledge and training that will help them better serve others and shape a healthy and productive life for themselves. Leaders Club meets once a week. Members also participate in social events, service projects and have the opportunity to go on several trips. Leaders Club provides a safe, genuine place for high schoolers and helps direct their energy to positive outcomes.

When:  Thursdays at 6:30pm

Summer Day Camp

Summer is an ideal time for children to get out and explore.  A chance to enjoy recreational and educational activities that help them learn, grow and thrive. Do you remember your best summer ever? Was your best summer a combination of exploration, activity, education, friends and fun? For families looking to keep their children’s minds and bodies active, the Y can  give them an adventurous, active and healthy summer.

Camp Badakookala, Discovery and Sunshine Camps provide a fun and unique experience that gives children and teens the opportunity to explore, meet new friends, discover new interests and create memories that last a lifetime.

If your child is 14-15 years of age, they may be interested in our Counselor in Training program. In our CIT program, they will receive valuable job interviewing skills, child care training, leadership experience, team building and problem solving skills.  To apply please fill out the application and contact the Y for an interview.
