Neon Nights Saturday, December 10 Holiday Season is Here! Wear red and green.

Every Neon Night includes a DJ, Swimming, the Joust or Monster Boxing Gloves, Gym Games, pizza, ice cream sundae and a raffle for a gift certificate to fun places in Fairfield.

Participants: 4th-7th Grade

Time: 6:30-9:00 pm, Drop Off

Fee: In advance- Fairfield Y Members $12, Community Participants $14.  At the door, $20 CASH for everyone!

*Parent Chaperone’s receive a registration discount for the next Neon Nights!

Dates: 12/26-12/30 AM session:  8-1.  PM session: 1-6

We strongly believe that every child needs a safe and fun experience each and every day. Our program is designed to provide an environment where each child can learn and grow through a wide variety of exciting activities that promote youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. We maintain a strong commitment to building character in youth through our four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.

WHO, WHAT, WHERE, AND WHEN:  For students in grades K-6th. Participants will engage in organized play activities, sports programs, arts and crafts, and swimming. The program will meet in Room A in the morning at the Fairfield YMCA and end there as well. Please pack two Snacks and Lunch for each child. Snack is not provided!

FEATURING: Inflatables in the Gym: The Joust!; Swim time in the YMCA Pool during PM.  Bring Swimsuit and towel both days!! Arts and Crafts projects and camp games!

CONVENIENTLY SERVING THE FAIRFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT AND BEYOND:  You don’t have to be a Fairfield resident to take part in the program. We welcome all participants from neighboring towns.

FEES: Members-$40 Half Day, $75 Full Day and Community Participants-$45 Half Day, $85 Full Day

Drop and Shop

We will watch your child while you Christmas shop!

Children will have fun while parents get their shopping done! Dinner will be provided and children will enjoy movies and a craft. All proceeds collected will go to the Fairfield Y Annual Campaign.

When:  December 17 5:30-8:30 pm

Fee: $25 first child. Sibling discount available.

*Please bring an unwrapped toy for the Alpha Community Services YMCA Family Homeless shelters.


Friends Forever Friday December 16

Grab a buddy and introduce them to the Y, try a class or enjoy the Wellness Center together.

All friends, buddies and guests of Y Members must present a valid photo ID when visiting and register with our Member Services Team.  Members can bring a friend, each friend can visit up to 2 times.

CarrotsFresh Food From Small Farms Delivered to the Fairfield Y Weekly

Field Goods is coming to the Fairfield Y! You can become a customer and receive 5 to 8 different fruits and vegetables each week, that are grown on small farms. Convenient pick-up at the Fairfield Y on Tuesdays.  The produce is non-GMO and mostly organic! Bags cost $16 to $32 per week and include a fun educational newsletter and recipes.  There is no long term committment and the program helps support the Fairfield Y Annual Campaign.

YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program

The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program helps adults at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes reduce their risk for developing the disease by taking steps that will improve their overall health and well-being.  Research by the National Institutes of Health has shown that programs like the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program can reduce the number of new cases of type 2 diabetes by 58%, and 71% in adults over the age of 60. Work one on one with a Fairfield YMCA Personal Trainer. Whether it is performance or health related, the Fairfield Y’s trainers can design the right training program for you to optimize your health and reach your wellness goals. All Fairfield YMCA Personal Training staff are professionals who are fully certified through nationally recognized organizations and several staff have MA’s in Kinesiology and Physiology or Athletic Training.
