Membership Benefits and Policies
WHAT DOES MY MEMBERSHIP INCLUDE?
- Unlimited use of the 12 branches of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA as well as access to ALL YMCA’S in the state of Connecticut

Membership Guarantee
If you are not satisfied you may request in writing a full credit/refund of your membership dues (including joiner’s fee) within 30 days of the start of your membership. After 30 days a credit/refund will be issued for the unused portion of your membership dues. Joiner’s fee will not be credited/refunded after 30 days.
Open Door Policy
The Hamden/North Haven YMCA offers financial assistance to those who cannot afford YMCA programs. Financial assistance applications are available at the YMCA Welcome Center.
Membership on Hold
A membership can be put on hold up to three consecutive months per calendar year for medical and other reasons defined in the Central Connecticut Coast policy.
Membership Cancellation Policy
All membership terminations will be processed within 48 business hours. Member must notify the YMCA in writing by fax, e-mail, or filling out a termination form.
Guest Passes
May be purchased daily. All guests must present a photo ID and sign a guest waiver. Guest passes include the use of classes or programs included in a Facility Membership.
Rates: Youth $6 Adult $10 Family $17
Free Guest Pass Policy
Three free guest passes are allowed per person per calendar year.
Child Watch
A complimentary babysitting service provided for Facility Members for children ages 3 months-10 years (with registration for 3 month-6 month old children) for up to 2 hours per child per day (based on our published schedule). Child Watch Passes are available at the Welcome Center, FREE for members and $5.00 per child per visit for Non-CCCYMCA Members and must be presented for admittance. Adults must remain in facility while utilizing service.
