Personal Training

Work one on one or with a friend with a Fairfield YMCA Personal Trainer.  Whether it is performance or health related , the Fairfield YMCA’s trainers can design the right training program for you to optimize your health and reach your fitness goals.  All Fairfield YMCA Personal Training staff are professionals who are fully certified through nationally recognized organizations and several staff have MA’s in Kinesiology and Physiology or Athletic Training.

Nutrition Counseling

The Fairfield YMCA nutritionist, Samantha Heller MS RD, will help you discover how to manage your weight, be heart healthy, lessen the risk of chronic diseases and optimize your energy.  Individual and group counseling is avaiable.  Samantha is a Registered Dietician, Clinical Nutritionist and Health Expert.  She is often seen on TV news shows such as Good Morning America, The Today Show, and CNN and she hosts her own New York City Radio talk show, Dr.Radio.  Samantha also holds monthly Nutrition Lectures at the Fairfield YMCA for the Greater Fairfield Community, lecturing on current health and wellness topics.

Group Exercise Classes

Group Exercise classes are among the most popular programs offered by the Fairfield YMCA.  Whether you are a begginer or disciplined athlete, the Fairfield YMCA offers a wide variety of classes for all levels. Over fourty classes are offered weekly and include classes such as Cardio and Body Sculpting, Interval training, Yoga, Pilates, Water Fitness, Cycling, Youth and Senior Fitness.  Classes are taught by instructors who are certified by nationally recognized organizations.  All cycling and land classes are free with a Full Facility membership.  Registration is required to participate in a class.  See the Fitness Class Schedule or Program Guide for Class descriptions.
