In celebration of Earth Day, the Valley YMCA is offering a volunteer opportunity at our Valley YMCA Child Care Center at 32 Howard Ave in Ansonia
Join us as we do a Spring Cleanup with our preschool teachers and students. We will be picking up trash around Pine Lot Park and up and down Howard Ave. Pickers being provided!
We will meet on Monday, April 22 at 11am in the parking lot in front of the preschool! We hope to see you there!

The Valley YMCA is hosting their annual Healthy Kids Day® on Saturday, April 20 10am-1pm. This free, open to the public, annual event features a variety of family-friendly activities to encourage healthy kids, healthy families and a healthy start to the summer season. Come and celebrate with us! We’ll have visits and special demonstrations including:

At our event, we are collecting Child-Friendly Hygiene Products such as children’s shampoo/conditioner, diapers/wipes/creams, baby soap/lotions, child toothbrushes/paste, child safe sunscreen, band-aids, and more for those in local shelters.

Financial assistance is available for families who need it to ensure that all kids in our community can have enriching summer experiences. These forms are required to apply: Financial Assistance Forms
If your child is 14-15 years of age, they may be interested in our Counselor in Training program. In our CIT program, they will receive valuable job interviewing skills, child care training, leadership experience, team building, and problem-solving skills.
