Andy has been involved in aquatics for over nine years as a life guard, instructor, water front director and competitive swim coach.  Most recently, Andy served as an age-group coach for the Wallingford YMCA swim team and had previously worked extensively at the Wilton YMCA.  Andy has a passion for working with special needs children; he organized the Wilton YMCA’s Special Olympics team and has worked in other settings serving special needs youth and teens.

He is a graduate of Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and English. 

Originally from upstate New York, Andy now resides in Meriden with his wife Jen and their    young son, Tyler.
